History

Northedge Consulting was founded in 2007 by Director and Principal Peter Lewis, after observing that Australian companies needed experienced and reliable specialists for Facilities Management projects. Working closely with stakeholders, Northedge has managed large scale tenders for Cleaning, Security, Waste & Recycling, Fire Maintenance, Vertical Transportation, Car Park Management and Construction Briefs.

Northedge quickly expanded to add Bid Preparation & Editing to our services. The extensive experience gained working on the other side of the table in Tender Management meant we knew what was important to a company when they select a tenderer. Ensuring a Bid Proposal ticked all the boxes gave our clients a significant advantage over rival proposals and increased the likelihood of selection.

To be successful in the tender process, a company must put forward a compelling argument to win new business. At Northedge, our background in Tender Management coupled with our consistent approach ensures clients submit professional, well-written tenders that stand out from the competition.

Since 2007, the company has grown to assist both Australian and overseas clients and has worked to deliver projects totalling more than $45 billion in Australia, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Our expertise, attention to detail and reliability has led to ongoing relationships with major national and international companies, who entrust us to deliver high quality work that meets required standards and specifications.

Today, Northedge Consulting is comprised of an experienced team of multi-disciplined staff to provide clients with a comprehensive solution tailored to specific requirements. Our Directors head a team of experienced project professionals including Editors, Formatters and Graphic Designers.

DIRECTOR & PRINCIPAL

Peter Lewis

Peter is the Director and Principal of Northedge Consulting. Peter holds a BE (Mechanical Engineering) and an MA (Creative Writing) which provide a unique foundation and ability to transform complex concepts into cogent proposals. Based in Sydney, Peter has over 25 years’ experience in preparing high-quality professional documentation and specifications for expressions of interest, requests for tender, funding submissions and draft contracts.

Peter is also an accredited NABERS Assessor and can assist Australian organisations in gauging their environmental impact.

Karen Peck

Karen joined Northedge Consulting in 2013, following a successful career in senior communications with Leighton Contractors and Promina Insurance. Based in Sydney, Karen has more than 15 years experience working closely with key stakeholders across companies to deliver large scale projects. With an expertise in communication and an eye for detail, Karen oversees the bid and tender editing process at Northedge.
